Using overrides
What are overrides?
Overrides provide exceptional ability to add special effects and changes to your Framer site.
You can read and learn more about them over at Framer's official documentation.
Getting started
To use an override we provide, follow the steps below.
Simplest way to grab an override:
Copy the frame with an overrides applied to it from our remix links and paste it into your project of choice.
Select another frame in the new project of your choice and in the far right bottom of the screen, select the Code Override + button to allow for you to select the override file and override function.
A more complex but efficient way:
Copy the frame with an overrides applied to it and click the "Edit Code" button in the far right bottom corner of the screen.
Once in the code editor, copy ALL the code.
Go to a new framer project and in the Assets panel, scroll down to the + button next to the "Code" section.
Select "Override: as the option and click create once you give it a name of your choice.
Paste all the code and then click command + S to save the changes.
Go back to your project and select a frame in the new project of your choice. In the far right bottom of the screen, select the Code Override + button to allow for you to select the override file and override function.
